7th July 2019 - Met at Cafe Hung Viet in Devonport

We bonded over our love of noodles, and decided to first meet up at a restaurant far away from where we both lived for some reason...

Date 2 - Ice skating

Having talked about rollerblading as kids, we saw the Aotea Square ice rink was open, and planned that for Date #2!

Date 3 - Mini Golf

Staying on-trend with cheesy activities, next up was Mini Golf at Sylvia Park.

Date 4 - Rock climbing

Then climbed some rocks, and ended the date sharing a pair of rollerblades and cookies.

Date 5 - Do NOT Recommend

If the first movie you ever see with a potential partner is "The Nightingale" and you come out having bonded, you're either a special couple or pretty special in the head...

Fur Friends

Then we started kidnapping various pets! Starting with Matilda during a house stay.

Helping an escape artist called Russell find their way back home.

And cuddling family fur-babies.

Moved in - Peary Mansion

Then the feared COVID struck! Theo's current crib became uninhabitable, and it was time to move in together at Kitty's spooky "Peary Mansion".

Changed flat - Haverstock

After a while it became obvious we needed a lil' bit more space, so they teamed up with some friends for an upgrade down the road!

Took trips

The next few years saw us exploring, showing each other off to friends & family, and saving up for the next big step...not to mention celebrating date-ivesaries.
